Why Bentonite For Dam Sealing?

How much bentonite do I need for my dam?

The standard application rate is 10kg per square metre. Measure the total surface area of your dam (floor + walls) and multiply by 10. A typical 30m x 20m farm dam needs around 3,000-4,000kg. Contact us for a free calculation.

Can I apply bentonite myself?

Yes. Spread granules at 10kg/m², incorporate into the top 150mm of soil with a rotary hoe, then compact with a roller. We include detailed application instructions with every order.
